Anatalia Countiss

SEAW Scholarship Recipient 2009 Born in Honolulu, Natalie Countiss earned a black belt in Karate at age 12 and moved to Bremerton at age 13. She began taking college-level courses during her junior year of high school through the Running Start program, and earned an Associate degree at Olympic College in 2005. She went on to the University of Washington, where she received support for her studies from an SEAW Scholarship. She earned the BSCE in 2009 and the MSCE/Structural Engineering in 2010, as a member of the Chi Epsilon Engineering Honor Society.Following a design engineering internship at the Port of Seattle in 2008, she worked with Reid Middleton in Everett 2008-09. In April 2011 Natalie took a position with KPFF Consulting Engineers in Seattle. She has worked on a range of projects for local and international sites: airport, civic, industrial, office, residential, and sports.In 2013, Natalie began service on the SEAW Scholarship Committee.
