Charles Sandusky - Life Member 1993, SEAW Seattle President 1979 April 2, 1918 – January 2, 2010
Born in Spearfish, South Dakota, Charles moved to Washington as a boy with his family. He attended the University of Washington where he received a degree in Civil Engineering. Known to many as “Sandy,” he served his country in the Army during World War II, stationed in the South Pacific.
Sandy had a 30-year career as a structural engineer with Skilling Helle Christiansen Robertson (SHCR) in Seattle, pursuing his expertise in aircraft hangar doors.
He lived with his family on Bainbridge Island for 40 years, and in Bothell beginning 2005.
